Isaiah 6:1-8

“Father, renew my heart this morning.
I want to be blessed by You.
I want to be used by You.
But more than that I want to be right with You.
Speak to my heart Lord, Amen!”

STEPS TO A SURRENDERED LIFE

Step 1 - Personal Cleansing: my confession of sins – WOE (v. 5-7). Psalm 24:3-6; Hebrews 12:14; 2 Timothy 2:21; 1 Timothy 1:19; Psalm 139:23-24

“God is not so much concerned about the sin in your life as much as He is about your heart’s response to it.”

“A truly repentant person does not care who knows.”

“Personal renewal starts with a broken heart.”

How to deal with sin:
  • You ask God to forgive you and cleanse you. Psalm 51:10
  • You commit to reconcile with any person that God brought to mind. Psalm 32:3-6

Step 2 – Personal Consecration: dedicating my life – LO (v. 8) Romans 12:1; Psalm 51:17; 1 Peter 2:24; Galatians 2:20; John 12:24-25; 1 Corinthians 15:31; Romans 6:13
