RECEIVE GOD'S WORD (vs. 19-21).
"... accept the Word planted in you ..." (vs. 21).
Attitudes Enabling Good Reception:
- Eager to hear God’s Word (vs. 19a)
- Open to what God’s Word reveals (vs.19b)
- Willing to discard ungodly conduct (vs. 21a)
- Ready to surrender to God’s ways (vs. 21b)
REFLECT ON GOD'S WORD (vs. 22-25).Hebrews 4:12
You will reflect on God’s Word best by reading it.
To look intently at these questions of the text:
S - Is there a Sin to confess?
P - Is there a Promise to claim?
A - Is there an Attitude to change?
C - Is there a Command to obey?
E - Is there an Example to follow?
P - Is there a Prayer to pray?
E - Is there an Error to avoid?
T - Is there a Truth to believe?
